On first appearance we have converted a large ivy bush. In fact this totally dilapidated oast house was under and overgrown with ivy to the extent that the structure required support whilst new mortar and brickwork were installed. New oak cladding and glazed end to the stowage are tied to the restored brick kiln and cowl. The conversion has provided a charming guest cottage annexe of three bedrooms at the bottom of the garden of the principal house. CONVERTED IVY 54 STEPHEN LANGER ARCHITECTS PORTFOLIO
