Two-kiln Sussex oast with the kilns on the side of the stowage overlooking Bewl Water. This oast house had previously been converted but very poorly in the 1960s so this project was in fact a 're-conversion'. The building was stripped back to its original form then remodelled with more sensitive materials such as oak cladding. The loading platforms gave the opportunity for some first floor living space and the end of the building was fully glazed to make the most of the stunning views.
