Hever Castle Tea House

The Japanese Tea House was designed by us and re-constructed in 2013 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Guthrie family buying Hever Castle.   Sadly the original Tea House was knocked down during the second world war.  Local oak timber company Scott Partnership used traditional techniques and local timber – some from the estate – to build this delightful folly which Monty Don opened on June 10th 2013.
